Our login process has changed.
ACS Publications now uses ACS ID for access to ACS Paragon Plus. The ACS ID is a single login that allows access across multiple ACS online environments, including the proof review site, C&EN, and now ACS Paragon Plus. Below you will find some Frequently Asked Questions about the ACS ID.
All users must have an ACS ID and link it to ACS Paragon Plus. These two different logins are now being linked together. After you complete an easy one-time setup, you will use your ACS ID for all your publishing and reviewing activities. -
What is an ACS ID? Why do I need one?
The ACS ID is a single login that allows access across multiple ACS online environments, including the proof review site, C&EN, and now ACS Paragon Plus, our manuscript submission and peer review system. An ACS ID is free, and it takes only a minute to register for one. You do not need to be an ACS member.
-
How do I link my accounts?
STEP 1: Go to http://acsparagonplus.acs.org
STEP 2: If you have an ACS ID, enter your ACS ID and Password in the box on the left that says: “Log in here if you have an ACS ID.” If you do not have an ACS ID, click the button “Create an ACS ID” in the box on the right, and fill out the form on the next screen.
STEP 3: This step will link your ACS ID with ACS Paragon Plus. If you have never logged in to ACS Paragon Plus before, select “No”. If you have logged in to ACS Paragon Plus before, select “Yes” and provide your login and password for your ACS Paragon Plus account.
STEP 4: That’s it! You may be prompted to complete your ACS Paragon Plus profile at this point. If you have already done that in the past, you will arrive directly on your ACS Paragon Plus Home page. -
Why did this change happen? What are the benefits to me, the researcher?
This change is in response to your requests for reducing the number of different logins you need for accessing different ACS environments. We’ve heard your concerns, and we are pleased to let you know that you now will be able to use your ACS ID for manuscript submission, peer review, and approval of proofs. This transition streamlines the submission and peer review process.
