Over the past five years, ACS journals published nearly 2,000 articles from Japan. ACS Publications would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the ten editors located in Japan, who exemplify research excellence and provide leadership to ACS journals.

Setsuko Komatsu is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Proteome Research. She is the Team Director of the National Institute of Crop Science and a Professor of Plant Proteomics at the University of Tsukuba. Her research focuses on the identification and analysis of proteins for gene discovery and elucidation of functions of useful genome and controlling plant morphogenesis by altering the function based on the elucidation of molecular mechanism for phytohormone signal transduction.
