Share your own contribution to the JACS Timeline and see where you fit into JACS’ history.

Timeline submissions should connect JACS with pivotal moments in history and, as examples, could highlight:

  • noteworthy authors, editors, reviewers or other contributors to the journal
  • significant moments in the history of chemistry as a field, and how they were represented in JACS.

We also welcome submissions from JACS authors who might wish to highlight their published research in the journal by providing a brief overview of its relevance to the field.

ACS reserves the right to copy-edit, re-format, and in any way necessary, re-work submissions to the JACS Timeline, to ensure consistency and accuracy. We are unable to guarantee that all suggested contributions will be added to the Timeline.
