You're nearly in the ACS Publishing Center



Thank you for agreeing to preview the new ACS Publishing Center. Before you enter, please read the following guidance on what to expect.


  1. This first phase is relevant to your role as an author. Your Editor and Peer Review roles will continue in ACS Paragon Plus as usual for the time being.
  2. You will log in using your current ACS ID* and password (just as you do for ACS Paragon Plus).
  3. Things will look a bit different. We will rely on existing systems for some elements of the process for a while. You may experience interactions and communications from different systems for some elements of the process during this transition.
  4. At this early stage, you can interact with the new manuscript tracker. This will indicate the current status of all your manuscripts through the entire submission process. You will see the detail about each manuscript and can revise, transfer, or submit manuscripts directly from the ACS Publishing Center. To complete some of your manuscript actions, you might be redirected to ACS Paragon Plus.
  5. You will be asked your thoughts on the ACS Publishing Center. Tell us about your exclusive preview. Please send any comments, ideas, or observations to improve the new ACS Publishing Center to ACS Publications Support.

We hope that you’ll find the new author dashboard to be an intuitive, informative, and author-friendly way to review and action your submitted manuscripts and that you’ll be open to providing some feedback after you used it.

This is only the start of our plan to give authors more control over their publishing. We are planning a simpler and smoother approach to manuscript submission, which we will unveil in the coming months. In turn, this will lead to other important developments to improve the publishing process for authors, reviewers, and editors. Your feedback will be an important part of these developments.
* If you don’t have an ACS ID, you can easily create one when you first enter the ACS Publishing Center.
