Duration: 60 Minutes

Overview

Gas Chromatography Method development is required to optimize chromatographic separation of analytes of interest while utilizing the GC instrument components efficiently. Adjusting the method parameters as well as carefully optimizing associated GC consumables (liners, column chemistry etc.) during each stage of the experimental process, may be necessary to achieve effective chromatographic runs and therefore successfully accomplish the aim of the analysis.

This GC method development session will provide insight and guidance on where to start and how to develop a method from that initial point. Additionally, we will be stepping into the realm of Fast GC method development and how these columns can support with transitioning to this technique.

Key Learning Objectives:
  • Learn how to maximize selectivity of chromatography in preparation for GC method development.
  • Understand where to start when developing a standard GC method.
  • Discover how to transition standard GC methods to Fast GC
Who Should Attend:
  • Any analytical scientist utilizing Gas Chromatography
