POSTER SESSION

What poster session am I in?

All poster presenters will receive an email with their poster number and session details. Each poster session will last 30 minutes and blend into a 1-hour networking lunch or reception.

How should I prepare my poster?

Posters should be well-organized with clearly legible text and graphics. Blocks of paragraph text should be avoided in favor of bullet point style talking points and graphics. We recommend your poster does not exceed 90 cm x 120 cm and be in portrait orientation. All posters should include a title, name, and affiliation of the presenter (and collaborators).

Where and when do I put up my poster?

Venue: Xiao Lun Auditorium (CB101), College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, Beijing, China

  • Poster SessionA - DAY 1, August 28,12:30 - 13:20 Beijing Time
  • Poster SessionB - DAY 2, August 29,12:30 - 13:20 Beijing Time

The poster sessions will be held in the Lobby on the 1st floor of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. Please find the number assigned to your poster and attach your poster. Posters session may be set up starting at 7:30 am Beijing Time on Thursday, August 28 and removed by 19:00 on Friday, August 29.

What are the prizes for the poster sessions?

The top 10 poster presenters selected by the judges (who will be invited speakers and journal editors) will win a prize each and receive a certificate.

How will the posters be judged for the prizes?

Judges will consider 10 main criteria for the prizes: understanding of the research problem, methodology, results & significance, oral presentation & response to questions, organization & flow, and appearance of text & graphics. Some tips to succeed are: read the literature related to the problem your research aims to solve; ensure all figures have appropriate axes, units, and legends; emphasize the significance of your work and the future impacts; ensure the poster is clear and legible; and practice presenting your poster to someone. Please note that to be eligible to win a poster session prize, all presenters must be physically present at their poster during their session.

When will abstract submissions open, and what is the deadline?

Abstract submissions opened on March 15, 2025 and will close on June 5, 2025.
The Scientific Organizing Committee will contact all those who submit by June 30, 2025 with selection results.

I need my poster abstract accepted earlier for visa/other purposes.
