New imaging technology provides unprecedented views and understanding of biological processes; essential for the diagnosis of disease and the development of novel treatments.
Chemical & Biomedical Imaging is an interdisciplinary open access journal, dedicated to publishing cutting-edge research which examines the applications and fundamentals of the imaging discipline.
It will bring together researchers across the fields of chemistry, physics, biology, materials, engineering, and medicine, to address challenges, showcase innovations, and demonstrate advances in this interdisciplinary field.
Led by Editor-in-Chief Professor Zijian Guo and supported by Executive Editor Professor Deju Ye and Associate Editors Professors Neso Sojic, Peng Chen, and Rong Zhou, Chemical & Biomedical Imaging will have an international scope and a robust, fair and efficient peer review process.
Chemical & Biomedical Imaging welcomes papers that:
- showcase innovations in molecular and biomedical imaging
- push the limits of chemical, spatial and temporal resolution at single molecule, single particle or single cell level
- demonstrate advances in developing new chemical probes and methodologies for biomedical applications
Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:
- Imaging of processes and reactions
- Imaging of nanoscale, microscale, and mesoscale materials
- Imaging of biological interactions and interfaces
- Single-molecule and cellular imaging
- Whole-organ and whole-body imaging
Chemical & Biomedical Imaging is fully open access
Chemical & Biomedical Imaging is an open access publishing partnership between Nanjing University and ACS Publications.
Authors of papers accepted into Chemical & Biomedical Imaging will be asked to pay an Article Publication Charge (APC) and to choose a CC-BY or CC-BY-NC-ND publishing license.
The publishing partners have agreed that APCs for manuscripts accepted by April 30, 2024 will be covered by the journal.
Chemical & Biomedical Imaging will highlight pioneering research in new imaging mechanisms, technologies, and materials, and innovative applications in Chemistry, Life Science and Medicine.
Supported by a global team of Editors, the journal aims to publish cutting-edge articles to serve the interdisciplinary research community, and advance this growing field.
