  • Overview

Refineries and petrochemical processing plants rely on innovation to remain competitive and profitable. Any improvements that analyze samples faster, with increased accuracy and at a lower cost drives the ROI and fuels the adoption of the technique. Attend this webinar to hear how Erin Quinley, Analytical Chemist at Chevron Refinery, discusses the successful evaluation and implementation of ASTM Standard D8045 for samples in which acid number was unachievable using potentiometric titration by D664. The innovative new method D8045 improves acid number analysis by providing faster results at a lower operating cost. Lori Carey, Product Manager for Titration at Metrohm USA, will then dive deeper into thermometric titration and explain how the technique can be leveraged to address other analyses in the refinery such as base number, saponification number and surfactants.
